Two area top 10 teams will meet in what is being labeled the East Texas Game of the
Week. Tatum will bring its athletes and new swagger to the defending 3A champions
house. Last time Gilmer was defeated at home was in 2000. Last time Tatum beat
Gilmer was in 2000. A big scoring game is expected with all the DI players on that
side of the ball but don’t over look the defense. Tatum junior DE LaDarrian Johnson
lead the Eagles in tackles last week with nine. Could this turn into a defensive
battle?
