De Soto offensive tackle, Marcus Hutchins (2011) gave his verbal commitment to the University of Texas last month. At 6’4” 256 lbs, Hutchins certainly has the size to play in the Big 12, most impressive; however, is Hutchinson’s athletic ability. At the NLA Texas Top 100 Showcase in January, Marcus displayed wonderful body control great feet and agility for a big man.

Fort Bend Marshall running back, Deandre Washington, displayed why he will soon be one of the top recruits in the state when he attended the Next Level Athlete Texas Top 100 Showcase in January. Washington has unbelievable body control, change of direction and overall athleticism. Currently, Deandre has tallied two offers but will soon see several more offers roll in once spring evaluations get underway.

Fort Bend Dulles running back, Jarrell Oliver, received his second of two offers from Michigan last week. If Michigan lands Oliver, he will be the fourth Dulles athlete on the Wolverines squad, joining the likes of Darryl Stonum (SO/WR), Troy Woolfolk (JR/S) and Brandon Herron (RS-SO/LB). It’s still very early in the recruiting process to begin speculating where Oliver may go, but with big time tradition and familiar faces welcoming him, the Wolverines may soon find yet another Dulles alum wearing blue and gold in the near future.
