When the Longview Lobos play at Lobo stadium, they are pretty much unstoppable. On the 2nd play from the line of scrimmage, WR Eric Hawkins went 90 yards for a touchdown, giving the Lobo’s a 7-0 lead. Then the John Tyer Lions scored on back to back TD’s to go up 24-7 as WR Devonte Haggerty found the end-zone twice for the Lions. With great protection all night long, JTHS QB David Bush was 12-21 for 193 yards on the night. After Longview QB LaDarrin Robertson left the game with an injury, the Lobos never got it’s offense in a flow… turning the ball over four times. JT’s defensive back, Tristan Wade, picked off the Lobos twice. The Lobo’s 28 home game winning street was snapped in this 28-14 loss. For the first time ever, Lobo head coach John King looses at Lobo stadium. The two-time defending state finalist Longview (1-1) will face the Allen Eagles next week. While the Lions(1-1) matchup up against cross-town foe, Robert E.
