Mac Morse, Waiting in the Wings…
After patiently waiting for his opportunity, junior back-up QB and soon to be “future of JJ Pearce”, Mac Morse was given his first start in place of an injured Caleb Lewis. Morse answered the call valiantly, putting up an astonishing 608 passing yards and completing 45 of 68 attempts with 4 TD’s and no interceptions. Although Lewis’s return may be questionable heading into a first round playoff against Dennison High, it is more than obvious that the Mustangs will be in good hands under the direction Mac Morse.
