Ricki Herod will be a Jayhawk!
North Mesquite High School stand out wide receiver, Ricki Herod will be attending the University of Kansas next fall. According to Ricki, he is excited to be a part of the wide-open passing attack of the Jayhawk offense. With good height, a physical nature and great athleticism, Herod should excel in intermediate routes as a possession receiver for the University of Kansas. At the Next Level Athlete Showcase on March 29th 2009, Ricki displayed smooth and precise route running. Although not often credited for exceptional speed, he did a nice job stretching the field and getting behind defenders as well.
