Another Successful Showcase!

The May 31st 2009 NLA Showcase at Grand Praire High School played host to several great prospects from around the state. “We were really excited by the caliber of athletes that attended this late round showcase” said Justin Simons of Next Level Athlete. “We feel that this Showcase will more than satisfy our college clients desire to not only discover untapped talent pools but to also reaffirm their interest in prospects that they may already have their eye on.” Next Level Athlete will be holding an East Texas Showcase on June 28th 2009 at Longview High School.

As of May 13th 2009, 1 out of 3 athletes that attended the Next Level Athlete Showcase on January 24th 2009, have received Division 1 scholarship offers. ”We feel confident that several of the athletes that attended our first two Showcase events will receive scholarship offers at some level, we are still in the very early stages of the recruiting process and are already seeing tremendous results” said Justin Simons of Next Level Athlete. ”I am confident that when it is all said and done, our 2009 line-up of Showcase events will prove to be extremely effective in helping kids get an opportunity to play at the next level.”

Sachse QB receives offer from U of North Texas…

Sachse Quarterback, Henry Hunter received his first offer of the spring from the University of North Texas on May 6th 2009. Henry has been starting for Sachse High School since his sophomore year and has certainly become one of the center pieces of the Sachse offense. The 6’0″ 207lb QB possesses all of the tangible attributes that make him an obvious choice for an early Division 1 scholarship offer. Henry has been a regular at several of the Dallas area NLA Showcase events and has consistently impressed the staff at NLA. “Henry has great mobility, beautiful touch and puts a lot of zip on the ball when he needs to,” said Justin Simons of Next Level Athlete. ”I would say what impressed us the most about Henry is his attitude, this is a kid that gets it done in the classroom, works hard on the field and is a humble leader, don’t be surprised if several more offers hit his table… this kid is a winner!” said Simons.
