Texas Top 100 draws some big time recruits…
The Next Level Athlete Texas Top 100 Showcase Series for the Dallas and Houston areas was an absolute college scouting heaven. The Showcase events drew some of the most highly sought after 2011 recruits from around the state in what was a one of a kind event. Big name recruits such as Kameel Jackson (OU commit – Arlington Sam Houston WR) Johnny Haynes (Irving MacArthur WR) Marcus Hutchins (De Soto OL) Jonovan Griffin (McKinney Boyd QB) Jacob Bennett (Klein Collins WR) Jafus Gaines (Hou Chavez WR) Donovan Young (Katy RB) Deandre Wasington (Fort Bend Marshall RB) and David Santos (Klein Collins LB) were just a few of the standouts that were pitted against one another in position drill and one on one competition. “This was just a well run, well organized event that had some great competition,” said Pittsburgh High School QB, Mitch Manley. The Next Level Athlete Showcase events are fast becoming a “must attend” on the recruiting event circuit. NLA will be scheduling their next round of Showcase events in the coming weeks.
